[It's true. Any common ground Tenzin might have had with his mother growing up has been upturned by having to deal with her much younger self. But he doesn't want to pass up a chance to bond with her. As awkward as the whole situation (and their own personalities) is, he knows that it would help Katara to endure this place if she has people who are there for her. ...And he knows that it might help him, too.]

I see. I certainly have no problems with meditating with you at all. It's all about what you want to do. If you'd rather choose a different activity, I am sure that I would comply with that as well! One hundred percent!
